Webb5 jan. 2024 · The manual says to tighten the action screws "snug" from 60-80 inch pounds. When I got the rifle brand new, the action screws came out with just a healthy grunt and turn of a regular screwdriver handle. I cleaned and put the rifle back together and using a Wheeler torque wrench/screwdriver drove the action screws down to 65 inch pounds. Rear action screw measures 40mm for the base of the head to the end of the screw.
Webb10 feb. 2024 · 228 Posts. #8 · Feb 10, 2024. My CZ457 is the 'At-One' model (Boyds stock). I asked Boyds about the torque settings and they said 25"lbs - 35"lbs. So in my case the CZ recommended setting is at the lower end of the scale. Though I doubt the action screws had even 10"lbs on them when the rifle arrived (new).
